Macula
Mirai Trunks gets everything explained to him by Agabail....Abagail
goes to distract the messenger from Yarfell so that Mirai, with his lavender
hair, can sneak off into the crowd and not get himself arrested.
Abagail then encounters Jaina, another newcomer with bright green wings.
They manage to convince the Yarfallian soldiers that this is simply part
of Jaina's costume. Matthew and Sunny had returned to the inn, and
Matthew goes out seeking Abagail so as to reunite the group.
Catacombs of Yarfell:
We last left the group battling an unberhulk in a pit! Kryschenn was struck by its gaze of confusion! As Cassandra distracted the creature with an energy orb, Diana heaved the confused Berserker out of the pit, where Presto and Varla helped her. Kryschenn then wandered unnoticed off down the tunnel as the battle continued.Cass suggested trying to use a mirror to turn the creature's gaze back on itself, and Prsto conjured one. Anna-Moe stabs the creature with drumsticks and gets knocked out by it. The mirror, however, doesn't work. The only option is to get the heck out of the pit. Eric heaves Cassandra out, and revives Anna, who teleports he and herself out as well. (Assuming, though it wasn't posted, that Diana could leap out easily enough on her own). The umberhulk begins to climb after them, and they race down the corridor, hearing Kryschenn screaming for help....Kryschenn's confusion wore off after a short time, mostly because there were a hoarde of gremlins trying to eat her, and it was hard to mistake THAT....Celeste went back to get help, and Zeo whipped out some bright light, hoping it would have the same effect on gremlins as it did in the movies. It didn't, and neither did the magic Fairalin tried to use to put them to sleep. Zeo's next idea was to whip out her Fire Soul Blaster. Luckily for Kryschenn, there was room to duck around the corner before Zeo turned on the flamethrower. Fairalin tried valiantly to help her friend, but the gremlins are slowly but surely dragging Kryschenn away......
The gang (Matthew, Jaina, Abagail, and Trunks) are en route to Sunny's bedroom in the inn, to discuss what they're going to do next.

Catacombs of Yarfell:
Their escape has been discovered!
As the rest of the gang was fighting the umberhulk, Kryschen found herself being dragged off by gremlins! She is knocked unconscious in the struggle and is bourne away...Presto, trying to squash them with rocks, caused a cave in that temporarily cuts them off from Kryschenn and Fairalin. Anna teleports herself and Cassandra to the other side. ((Things get at little confusing here, as to which character is on which side of the cave-in...I've concluded, though it wasn't written, that it did not actually block the tunnel))
As magic doesn't work on the remaining gremlins, the gang resorts to smushing them with rocks and, in Fairalin's case, stalactites. As the umberhulk charges them again, Eric protcts them with his sheild as Presto conjures a fireball.
Then they notice Kryschenn's absence, and both Fairalin and Cassandra blame Eric.
Kryschenn awakens alone after more disturbing nightmares to find herself
surrounded by dead gremlins and blood on her hands....had she gone berserk
again?

The Swamp:
With Sterling gone, the others decide to bed down for the night.
They awaken to the sounds of a newcomer, cursing. Dan, off to investigate,
finds himself ambushed by drow elves! As the others come into the
fray, they find themselve in dire straits- these drow mean business, and
even Alexia, the spy, looks about to be skewered. And this time Sterling
is not here to help them, because.....

Ruins of Venger's Castle:
Venger has been temporarily defeated, though not killed. Cole
unwittingly provided him with an escape route, and Venger has vanished
off to regenerate for a day or two. In the wake of his destruction,
the castle began to fall apart.
Casualties: one!
Tommy was apparently lost under falling rubble, but upon later examination
his body was never found. is he dead....?
Rose vanished with her demon, Amain.
Bubbles vanished into a sulferous portal after finding out the hard way her little wings didn't work well, and reappeared with the others outside.
Zak, EO, Kimmy, and Sterling fought their way out the main gates.
Iris, Fay, and Zanthia were already out of the fortress, and Iris conjured portals out for the others.
Everyone else: Cole, Hank, Bobby, Sheila, Ingeld, Steel, Keith, garret, Garek, Carrie, Glitter, and everyone else I might have missed managed to jump into a portal and appeared with Iris and her comrades.
Introductions were made, Ingeld's wings were returned, Steel asked Zak about the Eye, Kimmy revealed she had the orb, and Sterling stated his intention to return to the group he left in the swamp.
Bubbles, however, still miffed about her interrupted pleasures, angrier still at her perception of Sterling abandoning Tommy, flew into a rage upon learning Sterling had lopped off Venger's...er...you know. Zak stepped between the two, as Kimmy opened the portal back to Yarfell (which she had taken earlier from Zak's book). Bubbles grabbed Zak's quill and jumped through, followed by EO.

And thus it is that we have accomplished our goals in Venger's castle, managing to rescue Ingeld, Keith, Tommy, AND Zak, retrieved the orb of the Guardian Staff, and restored Ingeld's wings.....with the added bonus of giving him his greatest defeat ever AND wrecking his fortress. Woo hoo!!
I am assuming most folks will follow and return to Yarfell (can't imagine why they'd want to stay out by the ruins). Sterling is stuck with us until Zak gets her quill back.
The time is now veeeeery late at night, perhaps moving on toward dawn. All the groups except for the Macula group are nearly on the same time scale (the underground catacomb folks might be a bit off).
