After putting his cape back on, the Masked Mentalist then examines the rose in his hand before throwing it to the floor, only to see it pierce the ground with its stem. "Cool! So, what do these other items do?" "Do?" she asked, puzzled. "Well, the mask tends to stay on with no visible means of support unless you're injured, or it's crucial to the plot, or you're getting pierced by a giant crystal, or the Lee Press-on Nails of Doom...wait, that would fall under getting injured.... The cane comes in handy during sword fights, and the hat..." She shrugged. "It's just real stylish. I think these are left over from the brief Tuxedo Dionysis escapade." She smiled faintly, remembering her last use of the brainwashing table in her Backpack. "But you're welcome to keep them, if you want." Personally, she felt Cole carried off the hat much better than Mamoru ever did. He'd always looked a bit silly in it.
