About ten minutes later the bird returns to the gang in Kryschenn's room, about the time they are discussing whether to send someone after her. Zak reads the note with a somber expression.
"She's completely whacko," Eric says, voicing the sentiments of several people there. Her threat doesn't concern him in the slightest. "Well, I can't say I don't know how it feel to want to prove myself by going it alone," Sheila says. "Though in this case....it IS a little overboard. Taking on Venger alone? It's suicide."
Zakiyah stands up at this point. "I should leave before you make your plans, so that I cannot betray you unwittingly later. I only stayed because Venger will already expect people to come after the orb and the girl. But if I learn HOW you intend to do it, and he should summon me again...or send his lacky to ask...no, better that I leave."
After a moment's thought, she adds, "I can try to go after her, if you think she'll listen to me. She didn't before."
