Thothalas licked the remnants of the salve out of the jar; not enough to help with any more wounds but a shame to waste a little delicious salad dressing. He jogged to keep up with his determined companions. He kept telling himself he was just a little hungry; he did NOT have the munchies.
He heard Ashleyien talking up ahead.
"Fellows!" he called then lowered his voice to a loud whisper. "The woods should clear then a defile then the marsh with dense fog. We must travel due west into the fog. The tree where Tombin heard Gareth singing is in the depths of the marsh. At least... at least, that's the way I read the map. And I'm pretty good at maps. Once I won a ribbon as an Elven Youth Scout..."
Unseen, Cadbury was hanging out of her satchel, spitting out the remnants of a green leaf Thothalas had stuffed unknowingly into the little rabbits mouth when he was shoving it into the the satchel. The bunny blinked with sleepy eyes about her then settled into the worn leather case. Quiet snoring could be heard.
