(Buuuut the Zak came back....couldn't stay away.... sittin' in the garden on th' very next day....))((Hey! That's the Cat song! I was just humming that at work last night! *VBG*))
Zak begins to sketch her portal on a sheaf of paper, then mentally smacks herself. "I must have left my book in Kryschenn's room...I'll need to get it."
She hurries back to find an illusion of a forest outside Kryschenn's door, and Fairalin buzzing about happily inside. She breathes a sigh of relief. "Fairalin, you're awake! Thank goodness! Well, I have more good news- Cassandra returned a few minutes ago, so you needn't worry about her. I think she's calmed down somewhat, but Rose thinks there may be some residual effects of the demon that was within her. It's probably why she's not entirely herself today, so be gentle with her. She's decided to stay here.
"Everyone else going to Veng-- uh, the Black Hills-- must hurry; we must get you on your way before
Lord Droth and his supporters return to the Council room! Rose is going with you. She has a plan. And
I will make you a portal. I'm already involved over my head, one more portal now isn't going to make
much difference...."
Kimmy helpfully pushed Zaki's book over to her so she could grab it more easily. She grinned, hearing that the Storyteller would be coming with them and wondered what her plan was.
She scoops up her book, not noticing there's a page missing, and hurries back to the throneroom, where the Princess, Cassandra, and Rosalia are waiting.
Kimmy Kenderkin skipped along cheerfully. "Come on Fay!" she called. When the Poet had caught up and walked along side her, Kimmy whispered confidentially, "Now's where it gets Really interesting!"
