Indeed, t'is only fair that I should make SOME effort toward my own daughter's safety. Salmack, at least, must go with you. Otherwise..." he shuddered, "I shal HAVE to insist on going myself." It seems obvious that despite his conciliatory words, Yodel has NO intention of entrusting the rescue of his daughter entirely to Outworlders.
