"Not in the hallway, though," he muttered to himself. Making his excuses to anyone who might be present, he quickly found an empty room.
"There you are," a voice hissed from behind him as he closed the door. "Lord Venger is not pleased with you." Tommy whipped around, spying the dark form hovering before him. "Shadow Demon? What the-" He was broken off as Shadow Demon raised a talisman that glowed red for a moment before the chamber was plunged into utter darkness.
