Rosalia waited while the others went through the portal. She hoped everything would be alright... or as well as it could be considering where they were going. She knew Amian did not approve of her decision to help these "Outworlders" as they were now being called, but she couldn't just stay around the city when she knew she be of more help.As she was thinking more about Amian and his earlier implied warning, she felt a sudden flash of familiar fire within her palms. She quickly turned and stared intently after the Mystic who had just left the throne room. Flexing her hands, she realized what she was sensing was not the demon who had possessed Cassandra. Another demon was nearby, though not close enough for her to sense anything more than that.
Rosalia turned towards Zakiyah, who looked decidedly unhappy as more members went through the portal.
"Be careful, Zakiyah. There is more than the Mystic's demon within this castle," she warned. Rose placed a hand on her arm, careful of her palm, and squeezed consolingly. She knew the risk this portal was.
Clearing her throat, she said loudly for anyone to hear, "My thanks, Lorekeeper. You're generosity of providing a portal to the fabled Black Hills will be much appreciated, I'm sure. The tale is quite intriguing, and a visual is just the thing to leave a lasting impression on these Outworlders. Until our return."
The Storyteller smiled and said more softly, "Take care." She then turned and went through the portal.
