Feeling something amiss, I decided to head back to the throne room, where I saw Tommy and Bubbles share a passionate moment. As Bubbles went through the portal, leaving a stunned Yodel staring, I smiled. Maybe this day wouldn't be so bad after all. "So," I said to Tommy. "Mind telling me what that was all about?" Tommy just stood there in silence. "Tommy?" I waved my hand over his eyes. "Realm to Romeo, Realm to Romeo, do you copy? Over." He glanced down at her, as if finally deigning to acknowledge her presence. "Ah, the Demonbait. Your pardon," he said in a condescending tone," the Mystic. Yes, I do mind, but since you asked, I was trying to decide if she was more useful to me alive or dead. I think alive for now. "So," he continued, suddenly switching to his more usual tone of voice, "who do you think did the dastardly deed?
