((this is after my post with Shadow Demon))Some thing inside Fairalin spiked and she caught an image of Kryschenn fighting, surronded by an angry red haze. "What in the world?" Fairalin whispered. 'Krys is in trouble!!' her mind roured and Fairalin got another flash of the Highlander fighting "No" she whispered and she flew. She flew faster and faster across Yarfell, across the river, getting faster and faster, untill she was nothing but a beam of light.
She stopped.
Standing infront of her was giant dark house, that just screamed 'Haunted'. Fairalin took a deep breath and caught a wiff of something dangrously familier. She licked her lips and even the air tasted a sour-sweet metallic, "Blood" she whispered the word, almost as if she were cursing. Suddenly a loud keening cry ripped the air, "NO" Fairalin breathed "I'm too late"
She flew and as she flew she changed untill she was running and running she barely stopped when she reached the blood soaked room, she dashed in, spotting the sobbing Highlander, not caring about the blood, and thicker things clinging to her she collasped infront of Krys and held her.
"Shhhhhhhhh" she whispered "It's alright, it's alright, please don't cry, shhhhhhhh" It occured to Fairalin the Krys had figured out what she was and it scared her. "It's alright" Fairalin whispered stroking the other girl's hair, trying to get her to calm down "It's okay, shhhh, your a beserker that's all, it doesn't make you a monster. Kryssie you haven't any reason to cry, these men deserved what they got a please Kryschenn, your human, your not a monster, Heaven knows your more human then me, of Krys please don't cry, it's alright, you'll be fine, everything will turn out alright, please Krys. This place has the cyrstal law, it always has a happy ending for good mortals, everything will be okay I promise, shhhhhhh it's alright. Shhhhhh" Fairalin held Krys and rocked her gently, praying to the Goddess that she was right on all counts and the pain in Kryschenn's eyes would slip away one day.
