"Night Steel," The Mentalist replied calmly before raising his voice to the Ninja, "I'm a Telepath, NOT A TELEPHONE!" *Sigh* "Sorry about that, N. Steel." Cole said apologetically "Here, I'll try just for you."
Removing the Stone of Zarpathos from its pouch Cole and pretends to contact Zak. "I'm in. Greeting Lorekeeper. What? Do I look like a Force of Evil to you? No it's me, Cole! Uh-huh, yeah. Sleep. Oh, I didn't know that. Uh, no, it was Night Steel. No, no, don't kill him. Okay, how about, 'PLEASE don't kill him.' *Whew* Okay, sorry. Good-bye." Putting his gem away he then turns to the Ninja saying, "Zak said don't EVER bother her when she's trying to sleep, EVER!"
A look of worry then appears on the Ninja's face fearing Cole's actions on his behalf may have made the Lorekeeper angry with him. Immediately Cole runs back into the watchtower and procedes to laugh his @$$ off. After the humor subsides Cole then tells N.S. about his deception. "Hey, why are you holding those Nunchaku like that! You better not! A couple might get mad if you kill me, Like uh...well, somebody might. Okay, I'm very, very, very, very, very, very very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, sorry I played that little joke on you. *whew* There, I said it."
"But if you want to talk to her so badly..." Cole said handing the Ninja his gem, "...why dont you ask her yourself? Then again, you can't really read someone's mind without their permission. I've haven't tried contacting her telepathically before, she may have a thing about people trying to do it. And if you're in her mind she'll be able to see into yours, too. She could pick up on any stray thoughts you have. It only works one time per charge. Always remember to floss. Don't forget to arrive at least an hour before the plane takes off. Lather, rinse, repeat..." Cole then trailed off giving the Ninja more helpful advice leaving Night Steel to decide whether or not he wanted to try contacting Zakiyah telepathically through the gem.
