"Perhaps now would be a good time for you to attempt accessing your new impliment's capabilities?" Cole suggested, "I'm afraid we may not have the time for it later, Garek. And Glitter, since our position here seems secure enough, perhaps you can begin practicing using your new device as well." Cole didn't want to take any chances allowing the newest members of the team to be as unprepared as he and the others found themselves the day before. He figured that the two entities the group faced in Yarfell were probably nowhere near as powerful as the monster they served. The same monster they would be called upon to face once the group of 'travelling performers' send word.
His thoughts then turned to the others who opted to remain behind in Yarfell: Fairalin, Zakiyah, Cassandra, Tommy, Sailor Zeo, and Kryschenn who because of murder accusations made against her and Eric the Cavalier, had no other alternative but to remain behind. Since being struck by a powerful telepathic bolt sometime ago, Cole was hesitant to attempt telepathically calling them or the splinter groups in Macula and the Stinkwell thinking perhaps a psionic call over that range could somehow be intercepted by the same mind that attacked him.
Pulling himself out of his musings, Cole turned his attention back to the elf. "What can you tell us about this friend of yours and the settlement they've been taken too?"
