"Well, so much for taking a breather,"commented Sterling sarcastically. "Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more!" Looking around to see if everyone was accounted for, the Dark Elf realized that Dawn was missing and that there was no Erl King in sight."Now I understand that Dawn is having a pow-wow with the Earth Mother and that's all well and good." mentioned the Swordsman matter-of-factly. "But as far as the Erl-King goes, that's a fine how-do-you-do, the guy volunteers to help us but doesn't even show up. Heck, the least the he could've done was show us the way!"
As if on cue, the earth beneath their feet began to rumble as a huge block of solid black rock pierced the surface of the ground and immediately jutted upwards. The rock towered over the adventurers as the earth shook again and another black rock appeared about twenty yards distant with another one appearing beyond that.
"Well, I could be wrong, but I do believe that this is the big guy's way of pointing us in the right direction." concluded the Drow summarily. "If you guys are up to it, I say let's find our friends and do the job we came here to do. What do you say?"
