The shaking earth caused Ash to slip off the rock she had just sat down on. "Ow!" she said as she landed on the ground. She looked up at Sterling as she climbed to her feet, "I think you're right, but couldn't he have found a less painful way to lead us in the right direction?" She look a the column of black stones, "I just thought of something. Where do they lead to? Do they lead to our missing companions or to Gareth? Is it possible that Erl King could lead us into a trap? What happens if that wasn't his handywork but that of Tuculcha instead?"
The Warrior in the blue dress looked at the Sun Elf and then back to the Drow, "Do you think Thothalas will be okay? He didn't seem too good back where ever we were." Her eyes glanced towards the silent Monk, who had hardly said two words in the past 24-hours, 'I wonder what's up with him?' she thought.
Ash straightened her vest and shifted her sword belt to a more comfortable position. She walked over to the Drow Swordsman and with a rather playful smile said, "I'm ready when you are, our glorious leader, Sir. I just don't know about the Mage and the Monk."
