Zombies rose from the ground as Dan nearly slammed into the back of the now-stopped Elven mage, "What the?" Before he knew it Dawn and Ash were smashing decayed flesh and Sterling was in a battle of strength with another of the undead host.
Fire blazed around them as a young woman blinked into the scene. "At least she's on our side." he commented and smiled to the fire-flinger.
"Hurry up, Dan!" the now free dark elf barked at him.
"Yeah, Yeah....I've got the rear, remember....move out!" he retorted, glad everyone was no worse for wear. There were more zombies, however, pulling free of the nasty muck of the surrounding Swamp. Dan's whip shot out wrapping around the neck of one of the shambling piles of flesh. He jerked it hard sending it careening into a tree. "I'm right behind ya..."
