The woman in the cell did not see the pale child staring at her through the bars at first. He bit his lip uncertainly. She could be the bad lady. The bad lady had hurt him and the others. But the bunny liked her. She wanted to talk to the lady and was quite excited.The child reached into the shadows of the cell lock; there was a click, and the door swung open. The pale light that radiated from the lost spirit spilled into the cell, and the bunny sat up in his arms and chittered.
"You're pretty," said the child simply to the woman. "Oh, Cadbury wants to know how you got here."
The boy giggled as the bunny hoped into the woman's waiting arms.
