"Endanger you guys?! Not at all, Ashleyien, not at all!" cautioned Sterling, gently pushing the Warrior in Blue to the side and walking over to Dawn. "In answer to your question, my plan actually has two parts to it: The first part involves guest appearances by two people that we both know and love. Our first guest is our friendly neighborhood earth elemental, his majesty, the Erl King." Speaking aloud, the Drow said, "Your majesty, I wish to call upon your presence and have you join us at this time!"Suddenly the earth began to shake as The Erl King erupted from the depths of the swamp, looming tall over the adventurers. The creature looked like a solid mass of umbra against the living darkness of the swamp.
"WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG TO GET HERE?!" said the Erl King in a bass voice that was so deep it sounded like James Earl Jones speaking through a megaphone.
"Traffic!" quipped the Swordsman nonchalantly with a smile.
The Erl King gave the Drow a low moan that reminded Sterling of the moans Lurch of Addams Family fame would give when someone said something or did something with which he did not agree.
"Now," continued the Dark Elf with a sarcastic smirk. "The second guest appearance involves the disclosure of our guest villainess for tonight. We all know her, we all love her, I give you Tuculcha!" Pointing to Ashleyien who just looked at him with an evil glare.
"I know, I know you guys probably think that I'm off my rocker." surmised the Drow calmly. "Well, the truth of the matter is that Tuculcha has been masquerading as Ashleyien probably since Zak and Cadbury were kidnapped. I myself didn't know that she was the Swamp Witch until I spoke French to her earlier this evening, and she in turn did not respond in kind. Now I admit that my French is pretty bad. But according to her bio on the Darkhaven Web Page the real Ashleyien is from Quebec and should have been able to pick up on some of what I was saying. She was completely confused, just like she is right now. Add to that the fact that she didn't know what the Blair Witch Project was, and what you have is a phony, baloney Warrior in Blue!"
Looking at Ashleyien warningly, the Dark Elf cautioned, "Oh, and Tuculcha, before you go ballistic and start blasting people or casting any spells or trying to make an exit; I want you to bear in mind that between us, The Erl King, and his retainers, we'll kick your sorry butt up and down this swamp! We're not after you, Tuculcha, we just want our friends back safe and sound. All we want to do is just talk with you and negotiate for their release, that's all. So can you please stop insulting all of our intelligences, and just drop your little Halloween disguise? The sweet, young and innocent look is definitely not you!"
