How can anyone think with such an annoying sound!?!” Her eyes shot daggers at the Drow as he and his friends continued the noise. The dark sorceress weighed her options careful. Unfortunately the Drow was right; she would lose everything if he asked the Erl King to destroy her and her home in the swamp. She really hated that Venger had forced her to live in this horrid place; her cozy little fortress was her only comfort. She thought of all the magical items within and her dear Amaronte, if Venger had left him alive surely a tumbling fortress would destroy him. ‘Live to fight another day’ he had said, that being the case she could easily attack the group again when they did not have the Erl King’s protection. The Sorceress faced the Drow, anger burning in her violet eyes, “Very well, you have won this day. I will release your friends, if you let me go and leave my home undisturbed, but I will keep the sword and the backpack.” She stopped for a second and ruffled through the pack to see what it contained. She secretly slipped the Lorekeeper’s rope out and slid it beneath the girdle at her waist. She then she closed the bag and threw it at Sterling, “Here, there’s nothing worth keeping in this, you can have it, but the sword I will keep.
