'This is not good,' Alexia had decided that when the group went to release Zak from Venger's hold, she would inform Venger of their arrival. That way she wouldn't have to kill the swamp gang herself. She didn't think of it as chickening out, just letting Venger have the pleasure of finishing them off himself.Seaching for an answer to the question of how to keep Venger from summoning the Lorekeeper back after they rescue her, she almost laughed out loud.
"It's so simple, I can't believe I didn't think of it before!" She got a few strange looks but continued. "Why would Venger NOT want to summon Zak back? If someone who he doesn't want to be on bad terms with, summons her first. Someone who is much more powerfull and vengfull than Venger himself. And who is the one person, or should I say "being", that would frighten Venger enough to warrant staying far far away from if he can help it? None other than "He Who Can't Be Named", that's who!"
Alexia's smile was as large as one could possibly imagine.
"All we have to do is make Venger think Mister No-Name wanted Zak for some reason or another and summmoned her. Before he knows where she's gone to, we'll be back on our quest with the Lorekeeper safe and sound. If worse comes to worse, we could always try a stability charm of some sort to prevent her from being summoned after getting her back."
"Sooo...what do you guys think?"
'This better work. My best idea yet and it's for a trap.'
