He knew deep in his heart that magic was as deadly as a viper but more beautiful than the brightest diamond. He wanted her to feel the wonderment of magic, but he feared introducing her too quickly to its depths would be hazardous to say the least. Sometimes when he was lost in the magic, he just didn't want to come back.
