Tommy looks at the lumps on Zaki's head, then carefully studies her eyes. "Well, it doesn't look to bad, no signs of a concussion." He pauses to consider what she said. "I wish I knew more about how magic worked here. You're bracelet's enchantment is divine in origin, isn't it? Would a spell designed to stop normal sorcery have any effect on it?"Eventually Zak moves to glance out the window, but she sees little, being fairly short. What she can hear, faintly, sounds like a drunken brawl. Distant off-key chanting interspersed.
She almost smiles. "I think they're having a party....too bad we're not invited..."
Tommy shrugs. "A bunch of drunks who can't sing? I can't say I particularly miss being part of that. It does make me wonder how our friends are doing, though."
He moved to the window. With a bit of effort, he can just make out some movement on the ground. "I don't....nope. Don't see anyone I recognise."
Tommy settles down in a meditative position. "So, do you think we should try to rescue ourselves, or wait and see if someone tries to break us out before Venger decides what he wants to do with us? For that matter, do you have any idea why he put us together in the same cell? Are his others getting too crowded?"
