    Re: Answering the Troll's question

It was the first time in a long while Abigail allowed herself to shed a tear. While comforting Conrad in her arms, she was reminded of her brother, who was roughly Conrad's age on the last day she and her family were together. Since that day, she tried to make a point of not getting attached to people. Following the explosion, she discovered that she had failed in that regard. After a few more moments, the Cloaked stranger let the Conrad slip through her embrace and return to his mother and father. Seeing this family, united, in the wake of this tragedy proved almost too much for her heart to bear.

She then rose to her feet, the cloak she wore acted as if to hide her presence as she took notice of an young man approaching on horse. His dress and horse seemed to be decorated in a royal regalia. When he dismounted, he approached the Maculans gathered at the site. He asked them questions concerning the whereabouts of newcomers to the Realm, particularly if any had made there way to Macula from Yarfell. The Townspeople then told him of the one and only one whom they had met and told the young man of the heroism she displayed yesterday, and her apparent death this afternoon, nothing more. Abigail presumed that no mention was made of her or Sunny Hentai because the people of Macula sought to protect their identities in gratitude for Kayla's aid. The Gloved brunnette recalled hearing the rumors that spread to the community from Yarfell earlier in the day. Due to Kayla's actions, the Maculans seemed more than willing to give Sunny and Abigail the benefit of the doubt.

Oddly enough, upon hearing their tale, the young man looked rather dumbfounded, as if he anticipated to hear a different report from Macula. He seemed especially surprised to hear of only one traveler came from Yarfell, and that she arrived yesterday. However, he gave his condolences to the people for the loss of their newest visitor. The messenger then informed the locals that he intended to remain in Macula for the remainder of the night, and at dawn would return to Yarfell, where he would report his findings to the Princess. Shortly afterward, the crowd began to disperse, and plans had begun to be arranged to hold a service for Kayla the next morning.

Cautiously watching the messenger from afar as he moved through the crowd, Abigail soon followed. Eager to find out more about who or what he actually intended on finding here, she then told Sunny and Matthew she would catch up with them later as she seemed to disappear in the crowd...
