"Okay," Krys finally sighed. "Show me where his tracks went and where they end. Maybe he fell through a trap door or something. But if we can't find anything, we turn around and come back this way."Fairalin picked herself up and followed after Krys.
Celeste nodded, and headed over to the place the tunnels branched. "His tracks go down the left branch. Can you see where it makes a fairly sharp turn, a little ways down? That's where his tracks ended." She points out where they are. Faint tracks can be seen by those looking closely.
Faira flew over and examined them, odd, very odd she thought. Then a horrible idea came to her and she looked up. The ceiling was pitch black dark, and not even her keen eyes could see anything. "Something could have grabbed him from above" she said loud enough for them to hear, " I mean he, oh God, it would have to be huge, and there are some caves, some places that the way there made, it's hard to scry, scrunched up land or something, the energy all wobbly and weird but this ...... creature, if that what it was, I mean I could just be jumping at shadows but, Oh God, Oh Goddess you guys it would have to be huge! and strong, I could go look or throw up a light spell but it wouldn't be much more then sparkles, light in an element of fire and I ain't to good with fire. And I'm scared, don't ask me why but this whole thing frightens me, and I don't know why, please somebody tell me I'm jumping at shadows."
Fairalin finished, righting herself, there was something very very Wrong about this whole thing and she hoped her friends couldn't see for once the emotions running threw her eyes.
