Thothalas seemed lost in thought as the rest of the group examined the possible trap before them. The spell for Zakiyah's charm blazed like a nova within his mind's eye. Every now and again he would mutter to himself, practicing the incant. He tried to smile reassuring at Alexia; after all, their sharing of mystic energies would have its dangers. Best they both trust each other.
Then there was the portal to come. He was particularly giddy to give that spell life. He didn't fully understand Cadbury or the bond they shared, but his magic had grown tenfold with the little bunny, and it continued to grow yet. The opening of portals had been his dream; their intricate lattice of power the ultimate puzzle for his intellect. But don't get ahead of yourself; remember the here and now.
"Great work on the detection spell, Ashleyien," he said to the warrioress. "Should we tempt fate with our lady witch again? Or does any of our company have an inclination toward finding and disarming traps? Myself, I'm a bit twitchy when it comes to imminent danger and/or bloody, painful death."
