    Re: Looking for the Mirror

"Telling Tuculcha the truth about why we are here?" asked Sterling rhetorically. "It's an idea that I've been toying with, Dan, but there's a major problem with doing that...Whoa!"

The Swordsman grabbed Alexia's arm and yanked her backwards before she could take her first step up the stairway. The Dark Elf gave her a warning look and smiled saying, "Easy there, Alexia, while I admire your enthusiasm and eagerness to get the job done; we've still got to take this one step at a time--no pun intended--and disarm this traps before we go anywhere! Are you alright? Are you prepping for the spell, lost in your thoughts, or a bit of both?"

Upon getting the Fire Mage's answer to his query, the Drow turned back to Dan and said, "Anyway, the only problem I see is that if we tell her what we want, she may sabotage it before we can ever get to it. Tuculcha has home field advantage, she knows this place inside and out, and she could probably reach the object of our desires before we made it to the top of the stairway. We're taking a terrible risk as it is, I really don't want to do anything more that could potentially jeopardize our mission." Half-admitting to himself Sterling said, "Besides, you can call me paranoid if you like, but I don't trust that black-hearted witch as far as I can throw her! And speaking of which, I guess its time we had a little heart-to-heart talk with that Sabrina wanna-be."

"Yo, Tuculcha!" cried the Swordsman aloud. "Get your sorry butt out of your study, come out here right now and disarm this trap! We don't have all night!"
