    Re: Looking for the Mirror

Tuculcha put aside her current book as Alexia stepped towards the stairs. She was rather disappointed that the annoying Drow had stopped her.
She was even more annoyed when the said Drow started calling to her. "Yo, Tuculcha!" cried the Swordsman aloud. "Get your sorry butt out of your study, come out here right now and disarm this trap! We don't have all night!"

“The NERVE! How dare that insolent whelp speak to me like that!?! Arrrgh!!!! I have to think of Amar. I can’t let that Drow kill my dear companion.”

She stood up and walked out of the room, which happened to be just a few doors down from where the group or trespassers where waiting. “Good day my dear ‘friends’. You do not have to yell; I can hear you just fine. I’m with the esteemed Adventure on the idea of telling me what you want so I can be rid of you.” She knew the Drow would not tell her but she had to try anyway. “I cannot let you up those stairs, there are too many valuable items up there; some of my dearest treasures.”

She met Sterling’s eyes, “Perhaps you should brush up on your manners, young man. Ordering people around the way you do is not a good way to make friends.”

The sorceress turned to address the group as a whole, hoping maybe someone a little more ‘reasonable’ than Sterling might answer her, “I wish to know what you want up there. If you dare even try to hurt my dear Amar you shall never leave my keep alive. If he dies, I activate more traps around here than that little blue-dressed wench can detect. I do have some things working in my favor as well. Like you said, Sterling, I have the advantage of this being my home. “
((She’s not quite sure what “home field advantage” means, so she’s using her own understanding of it ))
“If you wish to make my life difficult, then I shall do the same to you. If you tell me what you want and it you can make it worth my while, I shall release the trap and let you all go about your business. If you continue to be stubborn you can figure out how to get by on your own. If losing you means losing Amar then I shall risk it.”

There was an angry squawk from the backpack.

    “So what do you say?”
