Coming Eyeball To Eyeball...And Waiting To See If She Blinks

Posted by Sterling Coleman on 11/3/2000, 11:43 am , in reply to "Re: Looking for the Mirror"

"First of all, Tuculcha," began the Dark Elf in a bitter tone of voice with an evil smirk. "We are not, nor have we ever been, nor will we ever be--friends! Second, you're going to have to excuse my bad manners, but I have an extremely low opinion of child murderers. I firmly believe that there's a special place in Hell reserved just for them, and if you keep attacking us, you're going to see it--up close and personal!"

"Now to the matter at hand!" continued the Drow as he dropped to one knee and placed the backpack containing Amaronte under his knee. The Dark Elf looked up and said, "You know what your problem is witch? You love this little bird more than you love your own life, hell, more than you love anything in this hovel you call your keep--and frankly, I'm not afraid to take advantage of that fact!"

Sterling unzipped the backpack a little and as Amaronte tried to squirm out, the Drow pinned the bird none too gently beneath his knee. "Now here are our terms witch: You will release this trap! You will allow us to rummage through your junk until we find what we are looking for! And you will stay the hell out of our way! Or by God I will strip this bird of all of its feathers, until it's body looks like a piece of frozen chicken!

The Swordsman smiled and said, "I know what you're thinking, Tuculcha! While I gave my word that I would not kill it, I never said anything about de-feathering it! So if you don't mind, RELEASE THE TRAP, WITCH, NOW!!!"

    A Point To Ponder
