Ashleyien couldn’t help but laugh at poor ‘Tucy’. “What kind of a name is Tucy, anyway?” she asked, not expecting an answer.
Sterling was definitely really good at getting the witch to sit up and beg. She thought she should keep her mouth shut and let him deal with the witch. She wondered if anyone else was going to throw their two-cents worth into the situation. She was thinking that maybe Dan was right. Maybe if they just told her what they wanted, she would just leave them alone. Then again Sterling could be right about the sabotage thing.
In the end, the warrior couldn’t help but throw out her opinion, “I say keep the Raven for insurance and tell her what we want. I don’t’ think that she would dare hurt her love and as long as we have him she won’t hurt us either. Sterling, you can keep the bird with you throughout the whole thing and that should keep her from hurting us. Then again, if she really doesn’t care for the bird then there’s nothing to stop her from betraying us. If that was the case, she would have hurt long before we got this deep into the fortress.”
