Tommy looked up in confusion as first Sterling, than a complete stranger rushed into the room through the odd portal which had just appeared. "Sterling? Why are you gibbering at me?"
He grinned as he stood up. "I guess that's Elven for 'this is a prison break' or something like that."He gestured impatiently for silence as people started shouting at him from all directions.
"Okay, you're in a hurry, I can see that. Sheesh."
As he approached the portal, he suddenly began to glow a dark green, starting from his back and rapidly spreading around him, reaching out to encompass the portal. As the glow reached the shimmering surface, it began to distort in ways that brought fear to the hearts of those in the cell.
