Hank was about to take the Mentalist up on his enthusiastic suggestion when he paused. Something was wrong. Something was going on, something over there. Behind the high, barred window of another tower prison. He thought, just faintly, that he heard voices, and saw a strange, greenish glow. What the..?
He of course could have no idea that Zakiyah's rescue party had just arrived, nor did he suspect the technicolor glow was coming from her cellmate.
Looking around quickly, he assessed the crew around him. Their first priority was to get that little girl, who- or whatever she was, out of this prison, not investigate funny lights and strange voices in the night. And they were currently without use of any of their magical weapons.
"Does anyone see that?" he asked, hoping that none of the perfomers were in trouble. "We've got to get Ingeld out of here, but somebody had better go investigate." He looked around. "Glitter, I hate to ask you this, but could you put on that armor again and sneak over there to do some recon? Pretend you're a guard. And take Bobby..." he glanced back at the prison, and changed his mind when he realized he needed Bobby's extraordinary strength to help free the little girl. "No, maybe you should take Carrie. Maybe she can turn invisible once she gets away from this area, but if she can't, you can always say she's a prisoner. And I you should take Cole too." He thought about it for a moment. No, even though their powers weren't working at the moment, he figured it would be wise to have one person with psionic powers on each sub-team. "On second thought, you're not getting off so easy with a scouting mission, Cole, I need you here. Garek? They might need help getting to that window, your rope might come in handy. Or Night Steel? Somebody better go over there and figure out what's going on. I hope none of the ladies are in trouble."
