    The Portal is gone ((Swamp))

    Now that Dawn was safely through, the portal could be closed. Ashley hated leaving Sterling and the others there but they had no choice. She felt the stability of the portal weaken drastically right after Dawn went through. "You've gotta release the portal NOW, Thoth!" she called, hoping he'd be alright after this.

    Ash saw Dan's whip wrap around the mage's leg, 'He's going to pull him out,' she thought. The portal looked really unstable and she knew it would be gone in a matter of moments. She took her sword in her free hand and held it before her and the Elven Mage. "I don't know if this thing can protect anyone but me,"she stated. In rapid succession, she pushed Thoth ((maybe Dan pulled as well)) away from the just-about-to-explode portal, held her sword in both hand and willed the forcefield into existance. She stood in front of the now fairly small portal, hoping to sheild the others from the imminent explosion.

    The portal ((at least on this side of it)) exploded in a mass of mainly green light. Ash's forcefield managed to block most of the power, keeping it away from her friends. The force of the blast shattered the mirror and sent the Warrioress flying backwards into a wall, rendering her unconscious.

    ((She's basically unharmed, just the force of the blast knocked her out.))
