((prison tower))" ((Tommy, forgive me....I'm not sure what you're intending with the green glow, but I thought we were operating under the assumption that magic didn't work in the tower. So for the purposes of this scene, I'm also assuming that Venger's spell on you took effect as you began to enter the portal, which took you outside of the magic-free zone and set off the trap. IF you would like to type an addendum explaining what Venger knows about the spell he cast on Tommy, please do..... Hope everyone's ok with that!)) ((Don't worry... *I* don't know what I intended with the green glow, or what exactly Venger's spell is supposed to do. I was just improvising. *grin* What I *do* know is the green glow is from the spell trying to feed off of the magic radiating from the portal. I kinda suspect BAD things would have happened if Tommy had actually stepped inside. There are several different way anti-magic zones can operate, and from the descriptions of this one in other posts, and the fact that Toth could make a portal into it at all, and without going into the magical mechanics involved (although I'll rather cheerfully do that if anyone is interested) I suspect that this one is a Mana Leech. Venger's spell just managed to grab the energy as it was being drained from the portal. It was of course being drained from V's spell too, but the resonance caused by all of this has rather... deleterious effects on the portal, as observed. Of course, now that Tommy's being dragged out of the cell, I get to think more about what the spell does...)) Responses: There are no responses to this message.
