Amazingly, bad rhyme and all, Presto managed to pull out of his hat a large, round mirror, about two feet in diameter. "Here," he said, handing the shield/mirror to Eric who was still in the pit. "What are you planning on doing?" Presto called to Cassandra. "Maybe if you shine the light of the torch directly in its eyes, you might be able to blind it. I don't think reflecting it's stare back at it will have any effect, that only works on a gorgon. Oh, wait," he said, brightening with the realization. "I get what you're doing!"
