Tommy quirked an eyebrow at the Drow. "Thank you for not trying to convince me that emasculating Venger was part of your plan. For the book, if I were Venger, I'd probably keep it in my magical workshop, under lock and ward. Probably with a demon or three set to attack anyone who didn't belong."
Tommy looked at his surroundings. "Whatever school of architecture Venger went to, he can't have passed. Lord British's castle in Ultima was designed better than this thing. (No offense, Zaki.) I guess being a sorcerous Evil Overlord makes you take things like sound engineering and fortification for granted. How the hell do we get out of this place, anyway?"
