    Re: Aftermath ((Swamp))

    “W-what happened?”

    Well, in short..."Boom!"

Dan smiled down at Ashleyein, "But thankfully, we've all survived, thanks in no small part to you, though how Sterling is fareing...I'm not sure." He reaches down and pulls the young woman up to her feet to join himself, Dawn, and a rather shaken and out-of-sorts Thothalas.

Dan points at the elven mage, whose face was nearly as pale as death and eyes glazed over. "I don't know what's wrong with him...but he walks where you point him. Just doesn't really respond to anyone. I hope he snaps out of it soon." The Adventurer picks up his discarded hat and places it back atop his head. "I suggest we leave this damnable tower and be on with our quest....It's the only thing I can think of to do that'll help anyone. I hope Sterling knows what he's doing...running right into the teeth of the shark himself."

Dan shrugs and opens up the bag that the dark elf had tossed to him. His hand wraps around the black feathered creature inside, still bleeding a bit from the wound dealt to him. "I don't pretend to condone the actions taken against you, bird. You are free to go...seek some attention to that wound lest it fester and corrupt your wing. Tell your mistress we are leaving as soon as we can gather our wits. Despite the fact that we are on opposite sides of this quest, if you and your mistress refrain from hindering our quest I will ask if Gareth can remove whatever curse it is that Venger placed upon you. ((Dan's obviously assuming some things... )) Of course, if I even think that you or Tulculcha are behind anything...I will convienently forget I made such a promise." The Adventure places the bird on the floor and allows it to hop, fly, or whatever away from them.

"I suggest we get moving before Tulculcha has a change of heart."

((Took a few liberties with Thoth...but I left it rather open-ended so that you may correct any inconsistencies I might have stepped in. ))
