I looked at Iris, and we knew then we had very little chance against several very large guards. That being said, maybe we could distract them long enough to try to get away. After all, Venger's guards weren't widely known for their intelligence. But their intelligence wasn't what worried me at the moment, more the large arms and hands bearing down on us.
"I say we go with it for now," I whispered to Iris. She seemed to agree. As we were led (or rather, dragged) back to the castle, I hoped someone, somewhere would see or sense our plight. Maybe Zanthia could help us, I hoped, if she wasn't in trouble of her own. As we were taken back to the Great Hall where we'd given out performmance, I hoped we'd encounter someone who could give us a hand sorting out these troops. From the looks in their eyes, following orders as they were, I doubted we'd get off unscathed. I hoped also, that when we got there, Iris didn't get any more flack from the guards for her physical changes. In the meantime, I supposed we could always pray for Tiamat....
