Bubbles stared at Sterling for a very long time before she spoke again. Then she straightened up and folded her arms, giving him a very cool look of calculation.
"Well then," she said quitely, an odd watchfullness about her. "Since you are in such a hurry to get out of here and back to the swamp, we have a portal back to Yarfell with us. Even if we find Zaki's book immediately and it is unguarded, I really don't see that waiting for her to draw you a portal would be the wisest thing to do. The sensible thing is to get us all out of here as quickly as possible and then Zaki can draw you a portal to the swamp once we're all back in Yarfell. Though, if you all aren't where you were when Zaki was taken from you, I don't know how you think she's gonna be able to draw a portal to the new place."
And with that Bubbles cast one longing glance towards the upwards stairs, then turned on her heel and started going down instead.
