((Ingeld's Tower))" Lord Venger's demon side had become fully evident, and demons did not die easily. Dispite the great quantity of purple gushing blood that oozed from his multiple wounds, he was still upright, having been driven to his knees. His wings were folded around his body, their thick, leathery hide offering some scant protection from the sword-blows. He had made good use of fangs, claws, and supernatural speed and strength as well, and bodies of soldiers lay ripped and strewn across the floor. It was not immediately obvious that these bodies were soldiers in the very dim light, and Venger on his knees was the hieght of a normal man, so it was not surprising that Cole had mistaken what was actually happening here. Cole saw his mistake quickly, however, when all eyes turned to him- including Venger's, which glowed like coals in the darkness. The moment of hesitation was fatal to the two soldiers nearest to VEnger, and they were shortly therafter bleeding their lives out with their comerades. Venger, seeing a new means of escape much closer than the door, launched himself toward Cole and the new hole in the wall with a wordless roar of fury..... Responses: Re: Another prisoner?
