((Sorry Rhonda-tough day at work yesterday or I would have posted! Hopefully better late than never))As Iris began to sing, I saw several portals open up around ourselves and others. A dazzling stream of rainbow light surrounded the two of us. I looked at Iris, who was still singing (God, what a voice, I could listen forever) and she nodded gently, never losing the rhythm. I took a deep breath and jumped through the portal. It was the weirdest sensation, of being suddenly between two worlds, or two separate parts of the same world. I wondered where I was going to end up, and if anyone else was going to follow suit.
Pervesely, I felt a sense of regret that I hadn't explored Venger's castle a little more, but I felt sure that Kimmy, wherever she now was, had done more than enough exploring for the both of us. Now that I was on the other side of the portal, I could hear Iris becoming more faint, and I wondered if there was a timelag between when she ifnished her song and when she herself could come through. I hope she makes it OK, I thought.
So, th first chapter in our adventure was seemingly starting to end, as some of us returned from the castle. The question was, what was going to happen next?
