Wandering down the path Spud could see the mid day sun high above his head, baking him in it's tortuous rays.Wiping the sweat from his brow he stopped and looked at his feet. A voice from up ahead called out.
"Who are you? You are not from these parts." the voice was definitly oriental. He saw a small frail looking man sitting cross-legged on a rock. He was old, real old.
"You look lost."
"You could say that," Spud said.
"I know a town nearby, if you are lost, maybe that would be a good place to start looking."
"Looking for what?"
"Yourself, what else?"
"Right."
"Come." he the old man waved his hand and stood nimbly from his seated position and and hopped from thwe rock to the ground.
"What is your name son?" the man asked
"Spud, and your is?"
"Hmph, Strange name if you ask me. My name is Edia." he bowed.
"Now come on, we must get to Timaya quickly"
Running off incredibly spryly, catching Spud off guard.
"You must run very fast."
