I looked about me as people wstarted to emerge from the portal that Iris had created. Kimmy, Sterling, Zanthia, Zak...the list went on. I was glad to see their familiar faces once more. Running up to Kimmy, I hugged her warmly "Are you OK?" I asked with concern "Where did you get to?". From the twinkle in her eye I just knew she'd seen some things... ((*G*))
We were slowly all assembling, and I wondered what we'd do next. I caught Zanthia's eye and thought about asking her how she'descaped the guards so well back there. Maybe I'd learn from her how to be lighter on my (admittedly rather large) feet. Zak looked a little disheveled, as did several others of our party, but at least we were back together, if not all of us then most, and hopefully the others would arrive soon too. I wondered how much time we'd have before Venger regenerated and began his attack on Yarfell. Somehow, the thought of thew Dark Lord's revenge made me very uneasy....
