EO strode down the corridor, heading back to the ballroom. She had escorted Kimmy to the ball, before deciding that perhaps she should hunt down the Storyteller and hear the story about the orb and the staff that Kimmy had talked about for herself. Leaving her friend to have fun at the ball she began her search, coming up empty until she finally broke down and asked a guard if he had any idea where the Storyteller could be found. Upon learning that the Storyteller was supposed to perform at the ball she headed back with a snort of exasperation, not believing that she had been so stupid as to not have thought of that herself. She reached the ballroom first, only to find it empty save for the remains of the party…and what looked to be a chandelier. She growled in annoyance, where the hell would she look for the Storyteller *now*? Her sharp ears picked up the sound of battle, and she gave a feral grin. Something to take her frustrations out on. It was great!
She quickly followed the sounds, to see the group battling with a horned demon. With a shrug she gave a loud roar, the fur on her body bristling as she swept past the others to give the demon a powerful rake down his back with her claws. To her surprise, the creature dropped to the stone at her feet, and she looked down at it with an incredulous stare. It should *not* have only taken one hit to take out a demon! Then the form shifted and blurred, shrinking down to a thin, grey-skinned humanoid. She remembered enough from her own gaming sessions to figure out what the creature was.
"A Doppleganger," she hissed. "Hope we got you before you killed whoever it is you were supposed to replace." She gave the now dead body a kick with an annoyed growl. "Now I need to find something else to vent my frustrations on."
Giving another low growl, EO turned on her heel and stalked away down the corridor, oblivious to the shocked stares of the group that was now behind her.
