    Re: Mind Games

Kryschenn got to her feet, noticing that, out in the hall, Cole seemed to be the one in possession of her sword. "Fay, can you watch Faira until she wakes up?" she asked, handing the semi-conscious faerie to the Poet (cleric?) "And then, afterwards can you tell me what just happened?"

Taking a quick step towards the hall, Kryschenn had to grab Fay's shoulder to keep from falling when a wave of dizziness hit her. Oh, man... she knew she was no longer wounded, guessing that Faira had mended her injuries, but also vaguely recalling some gentle, poetic words appealing for healing help. Still, she was physically exhausted. And mentally and emotionally spent as well, though she had no idea why. She badly needed to rest.

But that wasn't an option. With a supreme effort of will that she knew was going to cost her in the long run, Kryschenn straightened, despite Fay's concern, and pushed herself out into the hall into the slight confusion surrounding the demise of some grayish, humanoid creature. "What was-" she began, but never bothered to finish the question. Whatever it was, it was dead. She was too tired to think about anything that wan't an immediate threat to her or her friends.

"Cole, is that my sword?" She staggered for a step or two, but made it to the Mentalist. "I'm gonna need that." Turning, she noticed that some of her friends seemed a little surprised to see her back on her feet so quickly. "Guys, I think I owe you an explanation about the staff of Yarfell and the orb and all, but that's going to have to wait a bit. Right now Cassandra's in trouble. I've got something with me that's sort of keeping me abreast of the situation."

Kryschenn was vaguely aware of the tasteless irony behind that statement but was just a wee bit too exhausted to really care.
