Bubbles stepped up to Zaki's side, gently swinging her mirror on its chain, letting the light play off it. As she'd hoped, just about everyone standing in front of her glanced at it for a moment, including the one she most wanted to. "Now now, let's be nice and civilized about this," she drawled in her best Scarlett O'Hara accent, and she extended her power through the mirror and into the guard who had said the princess was drugged. "Why on earth would you suggest the princess was drugged?" she asked lightly. "You wanna tell us who set you up to that?"
The guard stiffened and his eyes glazed over. "I... I..." he stammered and sweat beaded on his forehead. Bubbles put more of her own power through the mirror and prodded him to tell her what she wanted to know. "Oh come now, it can't be that difficult to say." She smiled at him to strengthen her hold over him. But to no avail. "I cannot say!" the man finally shriekd, dropping his sword as he clutched his head in agony. "I cannot say it! I will die if I say it!"
"I think you're between a rock and a hard place darlin'" Bubbles drawled unsympathetically. The geis on him was very powerful. She could feel the power of it growling back at her. She wondered if even her Grandmother could have gotten the man to talk. "The man is under a spell," she told the watchers shortly. "I can't break it with my mirror so it's a very powerful spell indeed. Three guesses who cast it on him," she drawled lightly to Zaki. "I would suggest you not trust him near you any more Princess," she said finally, with a slight bow to the royal.
