A dark shadow appears on the ground in the center of the group as they gain their bearings and introduce themselves mere moments before the sound of Dan's voice reaches their ears."Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...." *thud* "Ooooff." The man who had been dumped so unceremoniously to the ground shakes his head. "What the hell just happend." Without looking up or even noticing the somewhat stunned group of people surrounding him the young man begins to take stock of his odd dress. A brown fedora, dust covered leather jacket, khaki trousers and leather shoes.
"I look like Indiana Jones..." As he was looking his new leather shoes his gaze continues until it falls upon the wierdest little bald man clad in red robes. The man's mouth freezes, as if he was attempting to speak but had suddenly found his vocal chords unwilling to oblige him.
"Welcome Adventurer. I trust your trip was....uneventful." As the strange red-robed pygmy finished his greeting a yellow beam of light shot towards his waist. Suddenly, where there was nothing now appeared a long brown leather whip. "Your weapon of power, Adventurer. Use it wisely." The Adventurer's gaze switched to his new-found 'weapon'.
"What's going...on" As he looked up, he realized that the funny little man had disappeared. After a brief moment of stunned silence the clueless young man finally noticed the group standing around him each sporting their own unique outfit. "Ummm....hi."
With a little bit of groaning the Adventurer picked himself up off the ground, stretching out his well over six foot frame. "I trust ya'll had a similar experience...I guess its better than trying to decipher site notes from some dusty long forgotten tome." As the word 'tome' left his mouth he noticed one of the women standing in front of him holding a rather large book. "No offense." The Adventurer smiles, "The name's Dan...or I guess Adventurer. That little guy? He looked strangely familiar.....like I should know him."
