Bubbles stared at her monitor broodingly. Chapter five simply was not cooperating. She sighed. Perhaps she should work on the gift scene again and hope for inspiration. Just then the image on her monitor started blurring, then slowly swirled into the likeness of a vortex. Bubbles stared in fascination. "Gracious. I know it's the ungodly hour of seven in the morning, but still, I shouldn't be hallucinating til 10 at least." Suddenly the vortex became very real indeed and Bubbles gasped as she was sucked through it!Bubbles landed on her feet, light as a cat, as the vortex unceremoniously spat her out. She stood up from her half crouch and looked around at the strange new realm she had appeared in. In front of her she recognized Dungeon Master, and six other people and a tiny fairy were standing around, all looking as bewildered as she felt. The Sailor Scout seemed to be wrestling with a creature that was part squid and part turtle that she had just pulled from her backpack. She threw it down and it quickly scuttled away.
Feeling a change swirl around her she looked down...only to find herself still in her formal dress. She looked behind her. She still wore her costume wings. Only...something felt different about them. Experimentally she tried to flex them. They fluttered delicately. The wings were now quite real and actually growing out of her shoulder blades! "Most astonishing," she murmured in delight. "This shows promise." She dimpled a smile at the Dungeon Master.
Dungeon Master, however, seemed rather non-plussed. "What? You do not have an alternate character?"
"Oh no!" Bubbles exclaimed lightly, with amusement. "I'm always just my own sweet bubbly self." And she fluttered her eyelashes and smiled sweetly again.
The Dungeon Master just blinked and stared at her for a moment. "Well then... In that case..." He gestured and a small, ornate mirror appeared in Bubbles hand.
"Why thank you!" she exclaimed in delight. "I do so like to present a proper image at all time," she murmured as she looked in the mirror and pushed a few strands of hair back into place.
"I didn't give you that just to soothe your vanity woman!" Dungeon Master exclaimed heatedly. He visibly regained control of himself. "You will find it has many useful properties. I shall leave it to you to find out just what." He now glared at her a bit disdainfully.
"Silly man, I knew that. I was just teasing you." Bubbles gave the Dungeon Master a small grin and now turned to face her companions. Dungeon Master's jaw dropped open.
"Hello everyone. I'm Bubbles Hentai and I'm very pleased to meet you indeed. Shall we see what our magic objects will do?"
