As Dan ripped the portal from the surround air, he heard the distant echo of a yelp of pain. Oh dear, he thought to himself remembering the look of pain that had crossed Zak's face when she had given a Yarfell portal to Sterling. He looked down a the piece of paper in his hands. I probably shouldn't have done that, echoed his thoughts
"Zak'll probably want this back," he said folding the piece of paper up and placing it in his satchel.
