"Oh, and Tom I thought one song but it has no lyrics to sing. It's called 'Children' by Robert Miles. I also thought about 'The Next Episode' by Dr. Dre and Snoop, but neither really say 'portal song' to me, but that's what I have stuck in my mind at this..." Cole stops talking for a sec and watches Tommy go through the portal "...moment. Oh well."
Watching as more of his new buds entered the portal Cole was thinking more about what Kayla said about his powers resembling those of the X-Men's Pheonix. Recalling some of the things Jean Grey-Summers was capable of doing, Cole picks up a common stone and tosses it in the air. He holds his right arm out and opens his right palm as if to catch the the stone. In his left hand he holds the Mind Gem, his Weapon of Power which grants Cole limited psionic power. As the rock falls toward his right palm it bounces off of the blue TK force-field the Mentalist had create around himself. "Hmm." he said as he put the Mind Gem back into its pouch to 'recharge' it. "A psionic sheild. Neat."
