Fairalin, Kryschenn, and Tommy Tanaka had already gone through the portal before Cole who just recently learned he could make a psi-sheild with his Mind Gem. "Theoretically," he said thinking out loud again "I should be able to make one big enough to cover the entire group, right? Well, I guess I'll have time to figure it out when I get there. Hmm..."
Then another little thought popped into the mentalist's head after hearing Fairalin describe the situation that lies beyond the portal. "Hey Zeo, you wouldn't happen to have any uzis, rocket launchers, grenades, cloaking devices, or laser guns in that bag of yours would you?" Turning to Zakiyah and Megan Starrunner "And Zakiyah, would it be possible for you to draw a roll of paper, BIGGER than the pages in your book and pull it out. If you could, do you think it would be possible for you to draw a ballista or a cannon or thirty and maybe some armor for us too, perhaps? If your wrist would hurt from drawing so much maybe Sailor Zeo could bust out a cybernetic cast (a la 'Spiderman: Revenge of the Sinister Six') which would prevent any serious strain while allowing you to write with your quill, or kimmy could maybe pour you some kind of healing drink, or maybe Iris could play a song that could heal any potential wrist strain." Turning to Megan Starrunner "Hi. I'm Cole. Your weapon is a form of energy projection, right?" Still riding on his train of thought. "Kayla's spatula is capable of creating fireworks...hmm I wonder if the Kimmy the Starbuckian is capable of pouring gasoline or some other type of combustable liquid from her thermos and then there are the rest of us: Iris, Bubbles, Zanthia, and Fay(?), am I forgetting anyone? Ooh, those Orcs aren't gonna know what hit them!" Smiling as he enters the portal he hums 'Santeria' by Sublime, confident that he and his teammates will wreak shop on those roody-poo Orcish jabronis.
After 'breaking on through to the other side' of the portal. He meets Tommy, Kryschenn and Fairalin. Using his TK powers to quickly levitate and get a better view of the orcs, he then comes back to the ground in a very calm manner. "So..." turning to the others "...who's ready to put the smackdown on some orcs?"
