With a burst of bright light, the portal implodes behind her, as she's brought the book with her.
Zak lands, entirely unruffled by the journey as she's done it many times before. She turns to Cole with a slightly incredulous look on her face. "What's a ballista? A cannon...?" She blushes. "I don't think I...uh...I don't know how it works..."
Great, already she was useless....she turned to regard the army they faced.
"Um...guys...." She winces, for the portal's flash had caught the attention of most of the orcs below. "They're staring right at us...."
